Hey Folks,
Here is the latest update from the playing card printers:
"The uncut sheet jobs printed last week and are going through our machinery this week to put the Air-Cushion Finish on the sheets then those will be good to go!
The 2 playing card jobs are printing this week. The tucks are due in on 5/3 then we will be able to place those 2 jobs in the finishing schedule. Hope to have them all completed the week of the 9th."
Once the decks are done being printed they will head to Gamblers Warehouse in Texas to have the custom outer sleeves made and put on them. I am trying to get an accurate timeline of how long the sleeves will take, but they are telling me they can get me accurate timeline when they receive the decks.
I am pretty surprised at the amount of time it is taking to print these decks, but the finish line appears to be in sight.

Last call for order updates! + Charging Credit Cards for BackerKit Orders

Hey Y'all!
Everything is fully in production now and it is time for me to lock surveys and charge cards for the additional add-ons people purchased through BackerKit (not kickstarter).
BackerKit is the platform that handled the surveys and also made rewards available after the kickstarter was done.
BackerKit Surveys Will be locked:
The last day to make final updates to your order is Friday April 8 2022. After this date, we will lock your reward selections and charge cards for add-on item purchases, pledge upgrades, and pre-orders. You can still update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for shipping.
If you haven’t answered your survey yet:
If you fill out your BackerKit survey or pay for extra shipping after the Friday April 8 2022 order due date, we’ll still receive your information but your shipment may be delayed.

Charging credit cards for BackerKit Ad-Ons
Just wanted to give you a little heads up that we plan to charge cards for add-on items you purchased or any additional funds you may owe through BackerKit on Mon April 11 2022. This charge will appear on your bank statement as "Ten Hundred". Please make sure that you have the correct card information on file. If any issues arise with your payment you’ll receive an email letting your know to correct your payment information.

Hey Gang.
Another update on the cards.
The actual playing cards are finally being produced.
There has been a lot of back and forth on small things that have delayed the production a bit. Some details too boring to share and others should probably be left unsaid.
After some back and forth they said they have my cards on the fastest press and hopefully we are moving into the home stretch on getting this project done. (The estimate right now is 4 weeks to print the cards which is less than they originally told me)
After the cards leave the USPCC they go to Texas to have the sleeves done.
At that point they should be ready to ship.
The Giclee Prints are almost completely done!

The Pins are done!
Pretty much everything is ready we are just waiting on the cards, which could be another 6-8 weeks for them to be ready to ship after they leave the sleeve makers in Texas. These timelines are estimates and I am at the mercy of my manufacturers.

Hey Folks
Got some updates on manufacturing.
Pins: My fulfillment partners sent me these photos of the pins they received from the manufacturers!
Bellevue Fine Art Reproduction are working hard on the Giclee Prints. They ordered crazy amounts of supplies, brought in an extra printer, and brought on extra help to get these prints going as fast as they can. It's a big job. They put together this little video. (may contain some pre-production sample stuff that isn't final, for example the gold foil layer is still on the ace of spades and that was supposed to be a hidden layer. That is fixed now.
I just got the Playing Card samples. These are rough hard proofs, printed on different paper than real cards at a little lower quality, but they are a good visual reference to have on hand.
I cant give a hard date right now because I still not certain when I will get everything in from apparel company and playing card makers. Each piece of this kickstarter is coming from a separate manufacturer with their own processes, materials and timelines.
The playing cards need to be produced and shipped to sleeve makers in Texas for final assembly.
I need to sign a ton of stuff which will add at least a week (probably a little longer) to production time.
I have to fly to Texas to sign a lot of stuff and fly to Utah to sign even more.
Once I am traveling to these different partners facilities I will try and film as much as I can for some fun behind the scenes action.

Besides like "yeah just emailing back and forth with people"
Things are moving a little slow due to the size of the project and general production shortages and slow downs due to the times we are living in.
You guys are all the best! Everything is coming.

Things are happening.

Hey Folks,
Just wanted to drop a quick update.
Things are being ordered.
Artwork is being submitted.
Invoices are being paid.
Manufacturers are producing.
It looks like the printing of the actual cards themselves is the slowest process, but that is moving along.
The playing card company has everything they need from me right now and it is moving through the production pipeline.
My best estimate for things starting to ship out is approx.spring 2022.
I will keep you posted if this changes.
It looks like I am going to be working with a fulfillment warehouse that will handle all the shipping.
I originally intended to do all this myself with my little shipping warehouse and my employees, but I am gonna leave that to the super pros who have built their entire careers just around shipping stuff to customers.
There are still about 1300 of you who haven't filled out the survey.
